Why UpSquill?

With one of the youngest workforces, Bangladesh now faces massive challenges with the ever-increasing competition in the job market worldwide: the advent of automation and the 4th Industrial Revolution. EMK Center believes it is imperative for society to act fast to adapt to the changes.

What do we do?

At the EMK Center, we promote ‘Education without Boundaries’ and facilitate tools to explore the skills of employability to be habituated for the ever-changing social, economic and financial ecosystems. These capacity building sessions are designed to provide participants with the necessary hands-on resources essential for career and organizational success.

How do we do it?

EMK Center actively works with the youth to equip and cultivate the 4 Cs of 21st century skills- Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration and Communication. We arrange comprehensive field-based talk sessions, panel discussions, roundtables, policy cafes, Design your career path series, spanning academic fields from Fine Arts to Physics, from Biological Sciences to Architecture – with the aim to inform, groom and guide youngsters from grades 6 to 12 in navigating their academic and career pursuits.Further, in collaboration with Wadhwani Foundation, we are running a 145 hours module to aspiring youths.
