Why BeyondGrades
“Beyond Grades” is an initiative to create an entrepreneurial mindset among pre-teens of Bangladesh through creativity, innovation, and leadership. The primary objective of this initiative is to develop a positive mental attitude, international mindedness, soft skills, and technological skills among the students to create future entrepreneurs.
Students will learn how to develop ideas and execute ideas through an effective business. Model. Through this workshop, the future torch-bearers of the country will learn to participate in global competitions and develop an international-mindedness that will prepare them for the digital era.
What is BeyondGrades?

What do we do?
The primary objective of this initiative is to develop attitude, knowledge, hard and soft skills among the school students to become entrepreneurs/intrapreneurs. This program also emphasizes learning about growth mindset, leadership, SDGs, and how to apply them in real life. Students learn about problem analysis, design thinking, proposal writing, product/service creation, financial and revenue model, pitching, and other effective tools to pursue entrepreneurship journeys.
How do we do it?
2-months long cohort with public schools are launched and 30 students from 7th/8th grade is selected. BeyondGrades ensures 60% female participation in its program. 26 interactive online classes are conducted where students learn growth mindset, leadership, and social entrepreneurship. BeyondGrades encourages young minds to think creatively and provide them with hands-on entrepreneurship experience. All classes are taken by experienced social entrepreneurs, development experts, and educators from Bangladesh and the United States.

- Mentorship sessions from the global entrepreneurship ecosystem.
- SDGs class by the UNDP Accelerator Lab Bangladesh.
- Seed funding opportunity for the student-led projects.
