Social Media Literacy Workshop

Join us for an engaging workshop on social media literacy, where you’ll uncover how social media platforms and their algorithms subtly shape our thinking and everyday choices. Many of us use social media daily without fully realizing its impact on our thoughts and behaviors.

Co-organized by the EMK Center, and Mekateam, this interactive session uses fun, activity-based learning to explore the dynamics of social media. The workshop is designed for young people and regular social media users, helping them become more aware of how reliant they may be on these platforms.

Participants will also learn essential skills for navigating the digital world, including how to stay safe online, protect their privacy, and spot fake news. We’ll introduce fact-checking tools and websites to help participants identify reliable information, empowering them to make informed decisions and use social media responsibly.

All participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the workshop.
