We know that birds sing, but what do bards do? Here in Dhaka, they sing too. And they write their own songs. They weave their own stories or tell stories about someone else’s experience. Sometimes, they compose everything else in their music, publish it, and run their pages. It’s a lot of work. In the hyper-urban space of Dhaka, being a bird is nigh impossible, and being a bard is not easy either. And yet they keep doing what they do because they have much to say. And it would be a waste if you weren’t there to hear it.
