Film Screening & Experience Sharing

September 19, 2024

It’ll be a film screening & experience-sharing session. Registration going on!

Calling all visionaries, activists, and changemakers who believe in the power of community! Join us at the EMK Center for a special screening of “We Feed People”, a documentary by Oscar-winning director Ron Howard that follows chef José Andrés and his nonprofit, World Central Kitchen, as they transform disaster relief efforts worldwide.

Food is more than just sustenance. Food can also be a powerful tool for positive change. “We Feed People” reveals the incredible story of how World Central Kitchen, once a small volunteer group, became a global force for good and provided over 60 million meals to communities in need.

Following the screening, join a thought-provoking discussion focused on the intersection of humanitarian aid, sustainability, and community resilience. In alignment with SDG 2: Zero Hunger, let us reimagine how we can serve communities in crisis through sustainable and locally-led solutions.
