American Spaces Membership
Membership Benefits
Membership at the EMK Center allows you to avail yourself of the following facilities:
- Access to the Center from Saturday to Thursday (9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.), except on Fridays, national holidays, and during other national emergencies
- Discounts on both in-person and online EMK Center events, workshops, sessions, youth development training, performances, EMK Music School, and more
- Free internet access
- All programs, courses, sessions, and events are accessible to people with disabilities
- Access to all American Spaces (American Center, EMK Center, Chattogram Corner, Khulna Corner, Rajshahi Corner, Sylhet Corner)
EducationUSA Facilities - Access to the entire EducationUSA Library’s collection (including university search books, catalogs, essay writing guides, and other necessary materials for preparation)
- Group Presentations and Sessions on various topics related to studying abroad
- Individual counseling with our EducationUSA Adviser
- Offer Local and National School Counselor Training to support educators in guiding students
- Host Online Chat and Webinar Sessions for virtual learning and engagement
- Access to Test Preparation Materials for exams required by international universities
- Arrange International Alumni Activities to foster global networking and knowledge exchange
MakerLab Facilities - 3D Printer: Members can create their projects and product prototypes using the 3D printer.
- Robotics: All necessary robotic and electronic assistance will be provided.
- Wacom/Digital Art: Members can use Wacom and similar devices for their digital and creative art projects.
- Workshop Space: Members can participate and use the MakerLab space to arrange workshops.
- Hollywood Studio
- Members have access to an ideal audio-video studio for recording, mixing, and mastering, as well as video and sound editing facilities.
- The studio features hi-tech modern facilities, including a VR studio, game development resources, and video recording equipment.
Members Application Guideline
Membership Form:
To become a member of our center, please fill out the online membership form.
Age Requirement:
Patrons must be at least 16 years old to be eligible for membership.
Required Documents:
To complete your membership registration, you will need to provide a clear photocopy of one of the following:
- National ID
- Valid Passport
- Birth Certificate
If you do not have a National ID or a passport, you must bring your Birth Certificate along with your SSC/equivalent mark sheet or registration form, which
must include your birth date.
Photo Requirements:
You will need to provide 01 copy of the latest color passport size photo meeting the following requirements:
- White background studio print passport size photo
- In membership photos, eyeglasses are not allowed, and ears must be visible
- Photos must be taken in clothes that you wear on a regular basis. For the membership procedure, no photos in uniform will be allowed.
Day and Time Availability:
- To avail the membership, just click ” APPLY NOW” button
- Once you become a member, you will have full access to all the American Spaces in Bangladesh.
Membership Fee:
- The membership fee is BDT 1000 only for two years.
- The membership fee is BDT 500 (2 years) for the USG Alumni, American Spaces Host Institutions students and employees, U.S. Embassy Staff and their family members.
Payment Details:
- The membership fee can be paid by bKash.
- Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of our center.
Renewal Membership
For old members renewing their membership:
1. Open the bKash app and log in.
2. Select “Make Payment” and enter the bKash merchant account number: 017 7774 2140.
3. In the reference section, write your EMK membership ID number accurately.
4. Enter the amount for your membership renewal payment.
5. Confirm the payment and keep the payment confirmation message.
